Privacy
Who is responsible
This site is operated by greenfieldsocial, and questions about data go to contact@greenfieldsocial.com.
The site is a small editorial project, and the answer to most privacy questions here is that we do not collect the thing you are asking about.
What the form collects
The contact form asks for a name, an email address, a subject and a message.
Nothing else is requested, and there are no hidden fields. If you write to us by email instead, we hold whatever your message contains.
Why we hold it and on what basis
We use what you send only to read and answer your message.
The basis is our legitimate interest in replying to correspondence, and your consent where you give it by writing to us. We do not use these details for anything else and we never sell them.
How long it is kept
Correspondence is kept only while it is useful.
Messages that lead to a correction are kept with the record of that correction; everything else is deleted once the exchange is finished.
Server logs
Our host records ordinary technical logs.
These may include an IP address, a request time, a page path and a browser string. They exist for security and for keeping the site running, and we do not use them to build a profile of anyone.
No tracking of any kind
There is no analytics on this site, and there are no trackers.
No advertising pixels, no third-party cookies, no fingerprinting and no social embeds. The site stores nothing in your browser: the single script it loads opens and closes the navigation menu and does nothing else.
Hosting and processors
The only processor involved is the company that hosts the site.
Fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts that service when a page loads. Beyond that, no third party receives anything from these pages.
International transfer
Hosting may place data outside your own country.
Where that happens, it is done on the standard contractual terms the host provides, and it is limited to the technical logs described above.
Your rights
You may ask what we hold, ask for a copy, ask for correction, or ask for deletion.
Write to contact@greenfieldsocial.com and we will answer. We do not require a particular form of words, and we do not charge for any of it.
Complaints
You may complain to a supervisory authority.
The right authority is the data protection body where you live or work, and you may go to it whether or not you have written to us first.
